Born of Angels and Demons: A Wake County Legacy

It’s been over 90 days since my last blog post, and I’ve missed this space deeply.

A few months ago, I attended a book reading that left an impression on me. After listening closely, one of the guests asked if Born of Angels and Demons had been republished or recreated. They thought they had seen the same title circulating elsewhere, possibly reused. My answer was simple:

No Born of Angels and Demons is my original memoir. It is legally copyrighted and registered with the U.S. Library of Congress. There are no duplicate editions. No one has the right to retell this story under my name. And here’s the best part…

My memoir is officially available in all eight Wake County public libraries in North Carolina. If you live locally, you can walk into your library and check it out today. That moment was not just validation; it was a reminder that this story matters.

 Podcast, YouTube, and More

If you’re new to the journey, I encourage you to explore the Born of Angels and Demons podcast, available on Apple Podcasts and YouTube. You’ll hear my voice, my pacing, my pain, and my healing. It’s one thing to read the book—but it’s another to listen to the story from me, in my own words.

From Wake County to the World

For my readers outside of North Carolina, you can find my memoir online and follow my work through:

And yes, if you’re joining in, I’m a mother of four. My children are healthy, thriving, and growing every day. This journey is still evolving, and there’s more to come. I’m currently working on a second memoir and a new book titled African Disease: Raw, Powerful, and Unfiltered.

🇺🇸 I Am American. And I Am Human.

Let me say this loudly: I am American. I love our country and respect the values that have shaped our path over generations. But most importantly, I feel human. For the first time in years, I feel deeply and fully human.

📖 Peace is earned. And every chapter I write is a symbol of that peace.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for reading. Let’s keep going.

Comment below with your thoughts, stories, or questions. If Born of Angels and Demons touched your life, I’d love to hear from you.

With love,
